Submission advice
All entries must be submitted online. All illustrations should be saved as RGB .jpg files and be under 25mb each.
Entrants may set their own DPI and image size but should bear in mind that the judges will view all images on a computer monitor. If any judge feels that an entry is of insufficient resolution to be viewed properly, we will allow the entrant to submit a larger file.
As a general rule, please try to upload illustrations in their original format. Entries should be of the image only, however we do understand that it's not always possible to separate the illustration from the final creative. If you feel it's important for our judges to view the work in its final execution then we will accept work in context.
If a piece of work is selected for the Illustration Annual, the entrant may be asked to resubmit the image at a suitable size for print.
Whilst a series entry can be comprised of up to 5 images, they must all be part of the same project. The judges may choose a selection of these for print, and not necessarily use all the images submitted.
Entrants should complete the entire process online, including submitting images and paying fees.
Follow these 4 quick steps to enter:
1. Go to the CATEGORIES page and select your appropriate category/ies from the list. You may enter either a single image or a series (up to 5 images).
2. Proceed to the ENTER page and complete the entry details questions.
3. Upload a single image for a single entry or up to 5 images for a series entry, along with a supporting statement and a picture of the illustration in context if you wish.
4. Complete the payment section.
Eligibility: Any illustration created between March 2010 and our closing date for entries (26 April 2011).
Please note, judges are not allowed to select work commissioned by themselves or by their organisation. Please bear this in mind when entering your work.
