The Annual

Categories

The Entry Deadline for The Annual 2012 has now passed. We have had a record number of entries, the best of which will be showcased in our May 2012 issue.

Work entered must have been produced or first launched/ broadcast/published during 2011 to be eligible for entry.


Work selected for The Annual will be based on the following criteria:

·       Does it innovate?

·       Is it powerful?

·       Is it appropriate?

·       Does it achieve its objectives?

·       Is it original?

·       Is it beautiful?

 

Although work is not judged by category in the manner of other awards programmes, we have found it useful to list categories to simplify the submission process for entrants.

For this process entries have been broken down into the following areas which are to be entered into either the Single (one piece of work) or Series/Campaign (2-5 pieces of work) categories:

·       Online Advertising

·       Print and Press

·       Graphic Design

·       Illustration

·       Packaging

·       Interactive and Digital Media

·       Commercials

·       Music Videos

·       Virals

·       Motion Graphics

·       Editorial Design

·       Integrated

·       Other

How will the work be showcased?

·       Work selected for the Annual will be showcased in chronological order by month and not   by category. The Annual will be published with the May 2012 issue of CR

·       There are no category winners or restrictions on the number of works to be selected for The Annual, we leave that up to the judges

·       Entries deemed to be of outstanding quality in the opinion of our Judges will be further honoured as Best in Book. All work will be considered for this accolade and there is no additional entry fee
