AGI memorabilia

Archive material from Alliance Graphique Internationale

I have been involved in the activities of the Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI) for 35 years: as the president of the Dutch chapter for 20 years; the organiser of the 1986 AGI congress in Holland; the editor of the AGI News Bulletin and the author of an 800 page book about AGI’s history. As a result, I have inherited a big suitcase full of the ‘club’s’ documents.

of that material will be shown in the background when Adrian Shaughnessy and I are on stage at the AGI Open conference at the Barbican in London in September this year. Creative Review also wanted to share some with you, readers of Monograph. What you’ll find on the following pages is just a haphazard selection of the leftovers of a life with AGI. Enjoy!
