The astroturfed furniture is part of Watch This Space, a season of performances at the NT that lasts until September.

The furniture, which was designed by Watch This Space director Angus MacKechnie and built by an in-house team at the NT, will not be used to stage any performances – it’s just a nice place to hang out. It’s this kind of unexpected bright spot that makes living in a city worth all the hassle.
