Harvey Nichols has great form when it comes to tongue-in-cheek Christmas ads, and it has followed up last year’s ‘Walk of Shame‘ clip with a send-up of another classic pitfall of the Christmas party season. Created by Adam & Eve/DDB, with directing duo Ne-o through Stink, the ad features a stand-off between two female party goers who discover they are wearing identical dresses.
Rather than one slinking off for a quick change in the ladies, a full-on laser-quest fight ensues – lethal pug-eyes included. ‘Avoid a same-dress disaster this season. Harvey Nichols womenswear’ is the matter-of-fact strapline conclusion – actually, that fight looks like more fun.
