This spot aims to demonstrate homeware brand B&Q’s mission to “give customers the power to act whenever life strikes; to make the changes they need at a speed that works for them”.
To highlight the flexibility of the brand’s offering, which includes the DIY.com website and a network of over 300 stores, Uncommon Creative Studio created a campaign based on the tagline ‘Change. Made Easier’ to reflect this ease and convenience.
The film Flip is a cleverly designed spot – which has also won an honourable mention for production design in this year’s Annual Awards – which shows how events in people’s lives can require dramatic and swift alterations to their homes. The film focuses on a woman who discovers she is pregnant and then imagines flipping her home to a layout design that accommodates the new addition.
