On February 23, Pinterest co-founder and chief creative officer Evan Sharp is visiting the UK to give a talk at the Hospital Club in London. We have 40 tickets to give away exclusively to Creative Review subscribers as part of our membership scheme, CR Club.
A former architect and product designer at Facebook, Sharp launched Pinterest with Ben Silbermann, now the company’s CEO and Paul Sciarra, who has since left, in 2010. It now has more than 66 million users and 500 employees.
Based in San Francisco, Sharp leads Pinterest’s design and creative direction. As well as discussing how the company was founded and its plans for the future, he’ll be talking about his own use of the platform and how to use it creatively or for visual inspiration, and the tallk will be followed by a Q&A session. It’s a rare chance to hear the story behind the site and ask Sharp any questions you have about the platform or the business.
The event takes place from 7-9pm at the Hospital Club, 24 Endell Street, London WC2H 9HQ. To book a place, click here.
Please note, due to limited venue capacity, places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and only those on the guestlist will be allowed entry. You will need your subscriber number to register – if you don’t know it, please call our customer services team on +44 (0) 207 292 3703.
