Chris Bovill and John Allison joined Channel 4’s in-house agency 4Creative in 2012 and quickly delivered the channel’s first brand campaign in its 30-year history, which proclaimed that it was ‘Born Risky’.

The duo have been creative partners for over 15 years, spending six years apiece at TBWA and Fallon ad agencies before joining 4Creative. In their almost four years at 4 they have delivered a plethora of marketing hits for the channel, which have helped to re-establish it as the most exciting, experimental and creative channel in the UK.
A sprinkling of these include the integrated campaign for drama series Humans, which pitched Persona Synthetics, a new (and fictional) brand of synths available for purchase to an unwitting public; a beautiful set of cinematic idents for Film4; and an entirely new identity for the channel, featuring contributions from Neville Brody and Jonathan Glazer.
