Every so often a brand emerges that seems to embody a particular moment in culture. Palace Skateboards is one such brand. It was founded in 2009 by Lev Tanju, a committed skateboarder himself. Through astute collaborations with the likes of Reebok, Umbro and adidas, plus a Soho shop that has a permanent queue of be-hoodied teens outside, Palace has quickly established itself as one of the UK’s most exciting street culture brands, its triangular logo a fixture of the UK’s hipster hangouts.
