Exhibition: Geneviève Gauckler at Kemistry

CR popped in to Kemistry Gallery in Shoreditch this morning to see how Parisian illustrator Geneviève Gauckler was getting on preparing for the opening of her first solo London show…

As I was walking past Kemistry Gallery this morning, Parisian illustrator Geneviève Gauckler was putting the finishing touches on her new exhibition – which opens to the public tomorrow and runs until December 19 at the Shoreditch gallery. Geneviève and the very nice people at Kemistry kindly took these shots today to give CR readers a sneaky preview of the show (Gauckler’s first solo show in London) which includes hung paintings and prints and also some work painted directly onto the walls of the exhibition space. If you’re thinking you’d like to snap up one of GG’s artworks, you better be quick – we tip the show to be a total sell out!

It’s hard work installing an exhibition! And it’s quite a task signing prints… One of the particular prints that GG is signing in the photo below will be up for grabs in the next (December) issue of Creative Review as our Gallery prize. Thank you Geneviève – thank you Kemistry!
