Set within the backdrop of London, the video for Sad Day (taken from the album Magdalene by FKA twigs) explores the complexities of an enigmatic and addictive cycle of love and loss through the art of the Chinese martial art Wushu. 

Directed by Hiro Murai and starring twigs alongside actor Teake, the video for Sad Day was conceived after twigs spent three years training in Wushu, under the guidance of Master Wu, the highest-ranking Wushu master in the West. 

The resulting promo shows off her skills and occupies a space between narrative filmmaking and performance art.
