The next Glug event takes place in Brighton next Friday 18th July, at Circus Street Market, with creative talks, installations, pop-up shops and more…

Established in 2007, Glug events feature an eclectic line-up of people from various creative industries; including advertising, graphic design, fashion and architecture.

Hosted by illustration and moving image agency Agency Rush and design agency Crush Creative, next week’s event takes place in a vast warehouse venue in the Circus Street Market area of Brighton, which is currently being developed into a new cultural quarter.

Speakers for this event include graphic artist Si Scott talking about hand drawn typography, illustration and 3D paper art; Graeme Raeburn, lead product designer at iconic cycling brand Rapha on happy accidents and fabric technology; digital artist Seb Lee-Delisle discusses his recent experiments with lasers for his digital fireworks display PixelPyros; and Katherine Bidwell, co-director of State of Play Games, who make hand-crafted games, will be sharing secrets behind their new Lumino City release and the creative process behind it.

There will also be 3D printing demos from 3Dify, Sam Murdoch creating a large scale mural, live collage work from Emily Evans, some bright and bold graphic creations coming together from Billy & Alex, a robotic photo booth and a series of short film screenings as part of Silent Cinema.

Brighton Esty will be setting up shop with a variety of handcrafted, locally created work for sale, and tasty treats available from a selection of food stalls from Street Diner.

Plus a free screenprint for all attendees from illustrator Ben Javens and local screen-printing company The Private Press.

Glug Brighton is at Circus Street Market Friday 18 July, from 6pm. Tickets £7. For further details on the event click here.
