As part of the Angle Theatre’s campaign to find new playwriting talent, Pentagram‘s London studio has produced a short film offering advice on how to write for the stage…
Be Discovered 2011 is Angle’s competition to find new writers. Its You Can Write a Play campaign aims to promote the initiative and show how good writing can come from simply observing and recording the world around you.
The campaign was created by Naresh Ramchandani and John Rushworth at Pentagram in London and illustrated by artists Huntley Muir. The animation is by Tom Baker and the film is scored by Graeme Miller (with sound mixed by WAM London). Additional dialogue for the film was also written by Shamser Sinha, one of the writers Angle discovered and worked with in 2009.
