Animator and director Johnny Kelly, whose Chipotle film has swept all before it in this year’s awards, is giving a talk at the Typographic Circle on June 28

Originally from Dublin, Kelly is an RCA graduate whose Procrastination film won the Jerwood Moving Image Prize in 2008 and appeared on the cover of CR’s September 2007 issue as we identified him as One to Watch.

This year, Back to the Start, his film for restaurant chain Chipotle was voted Best in Book in CR’s Annual and has won many other creative awards around the world. He was profiled in the June 2012 issue of CR (subscribers can read the piece here).

The Typographic Circle talk is at JWT, 1 Knightsbridge Green, London SW1 at 7pm on June 28. Tickets (available here) are £10 for members, £4 for student members, £16 for non-members and £8 for student non-members.
