London Symphony Orchestra: LSO 23/24 – Strung Together motion graphics

Category: Motion Graphics & Moving Image; Entrant: Design Bridge and Partners

For the London Symphony Orchestra’s 23/24 season, the orchestra wanted to celebrate the relationship between conductor and orchestra, with an approach that showcases the creative connection they have during the performance.

The idea, Strung Together, is a visual metaphor using string to show lines of communication between the conductor and the musicians. At the beginning of the piece the lines are tangled, yet during the performance they are untangled by the movement of the conductor – a story that reflects how the connection between conductor and musicians grows stronger as they perform together.
