Behold the flame-headed man versus the robot and the mad scientist: just a few of the details in a series of escapist posters designed for electronic music festival, Lot Lot…

The three-day event, organised with Øyafestivalen, takes place in Oslo in Norway this August and the three posters featured here were created by illustrator Kristian Hammerstad and designer Levi Bergqvist.

They’re full of pulpy sci-fi detailing that reveals itself the longer you pore over them. I only just noticed the victim in the foreground of the third poster, below, for example. Dark but kitsch.
