This book brings together a body of work shot over three years. It examines the relationship between cycling and the physical landscape focusing on the greatest mountain climbs which appear in the Grand Tours – The Tour de France, Giro d’Italia and Vuelta Espana. “Capturing both the vastness of the mountains and the sense of quietness and deep introspection they inspire, the work juxtaposes this with the ribbon of activity that clings to the route during a race day,” Blann says.
