New Androp video from Party

Last year the Japanese creative company Party wowed us with their beautiful promos for Androp’s songs Bright Siren and Bell, so it is not surprising that the band has turned to them again to create their latest video, for new track World Words Lights. The resulting film is a sweet piece of engineering, featuring a set of innovative toys that sing and dance along to the music…

Last year the Japanese creative company Party wowed us with their beautiful promos for Androp’s songs Bright Siren and Bell, so it is not surprising that the band has turned to them again to create their latest video, for new track World Words Lights. The resulting film is a sweet piece of engineering, featuring a set of innovative toys that sing and dance along to the music…

The team at Party have also come up with a neat way of funding the project: by selling the toys featured in it on eBay. So far, only the central character, a rocking cube that sports a cheerful grin, is for sale, though details of the other figures are all listed on the site accompanying the video (I quite fancy a flying mirrorball myself). The rocker comes in a limited edition of 10 and is not cheap: each one costs $5,000.
