Outline Artists, the sister illustration agency to gallery and store Outline Editions, has launched its first exhibition showcasing work by Kristjana Williams, Hvass & Hannibal and new signings to the company’s roster.

The agency was set up by Gavin Lucas and Outline Editions co-founder Camilla Parsons earlier this year, in response to requests for commercial commissions. They’ve already worked on projects for Transport for London – designing a set of limited edition Oyster card holders to celebrate 150 years of the tube – and department store Heal’s.

Work on show includes a series of beautiful collages by Williams, prints by the agency’s newest signings Jessica Das and Edward Carvalho-Monaghan, and artwork by Mr Bingo, Andreas Neophytou and Rob Bailey.

It’s a talented bunch of creatives and one whose work is in high demand: the illustrators’ past clients include Google, Ford, Louis Vuitton and Adidas, and Williams recently designed ads for lingerie brand Triumph’s Autumn/Winter campaign, which led to the exhibition.

“Triumph’s agency, Exposure love her work and have a gallery space on the ground floor of their offices – so offered us an opportunity to showcase a selection of it. Always thinking of ways to get work by our artists seen and knowing Exposure is a busy agency, we extended the show to be a full agency showcase,” explains Lucas.

“Camilla has been the sole agent for Kristjana S Williams for over a year and this experience, coupled with the reputation of her Outline Editions business, means our combined knowledge and skills make us a good team. I’ve been helping identify and recruit a small roster of artists whose work we’re really excited by and we’re starting to spread the word,” he adds.
