Campbell Addy
Books: Feeling Seen, Prestel Publishing
Campbell Addy’s first monograph, Feeling Seen, draws together a number of his striking shots of some of the most recognisable faces of today across pop and fashion culture. Having been commissioned to shoot portraits of the likes of Kendall Jenner, FKA twigs, and Tyler, the Creator, and cover shoots for leading magazines including Time, Rolling Stone, and Garage, Addy’s work has become known for its drawing together of ideas around race, beauty, and representation.
The book ends with more personal imagery from Addy, who “balances his own experiences as a queer, Black photographer who left his Jehovah’s Witness family home at 16 with broader questions of identity, intimacy and art, which many creatives face today”, according to the publisher.
