Jet Swan’s photo story for the winter 2021 issue of Dazed features a group of young mothers and mums-to-be, and is based on an idea she developed with stylist Claudia Sinclair.

The project was inspired by the feeling of change and transition leading up to, and during the earliest stages of, motherhood. The photographs have the trappings of fashion imagery but with the unexpected addition of baby bumps, newborns and infants, in a coming together of the fashion studio and the family portrait studio.
