Pick Me Up: Rob Ryan

Artist Rob Ryan has moved his entire studio into London’s Somerset House for the duration of its graphic art fair Pick Me Up. We interviewed him at his new home…

Here at CR we’re huge fans of artist Rob Ryan and so we were chuffed to bits that he took the time to talk to us in his studio – which has moved, lock stock and barrel, to a large room at graphic art fair Pick Me Up at Somerset House…

Rob Ryan and the various other people that run his studio are all working away on various things whilst in residence at Pick Me Up: screenprinting record sleeves for a release on Ryan’s very own record label, Reach Around Records, and laboriously cutting out delicate new paper-cut work drawn by the prolific artist who, apparently, isn’t as full of tea as he would be working in his normal studio…
