Put simply, PirateShip.com is a shipping company focused on savings. For the brand’s first US advertising campaign, it wanted something noisy, memorable and clear. Working with Mother London, a pirate superhero seemed like a no-brainer. But unlike regular heroes, the Pirate Captain is focused on one thing only: saving people up to 89% on their shipping.

The three witty films show people in dire need of salvation who are only offered savings on their shipping by the thrifty captain. “Pirate Ship is a company that really values having fun, and they challenged us to go to controversial places in search of it,” says Richard Tahmasebi, creative director at Mother London. “All we really wanted to do was make some commercials that will make people laugh, while underlining how much they can save on their shipping.
