A portrait of Ziggy Stardust, and other collectables at the Sound & Vision auction

The Sound & Vision auction is back, this time raising funds for Stand Up To Cancer. Items on offer include a portrait of David Bowie, a guitar from Damien Hirst and more.

On the November 17 Abbey Road Studios will host an art auction with all proceeds going towards Stand Up To Cancer. Artist Ed Chapman has created a portrait of David Bowie for this auction – the collage of Bowie in his Ziggy Stardust persona has been made using pieces of records and CDs.

Some of the items from the auction can be bid for online till midday on November 16 after which bidding will close till the live auction the following day. Artists The Real Thing, Odyssey and Anastacia, herself a cancer survivor, will perform at the event.
