Spin Re-Bag
Spin‘s Re-Bag design

Packaging manufacturer Progress approached 15 leading design practitioners to create a design to be printed on reusable canvas bags with a theme of sustainability. All bags are screenprinted white on to dark grey canvas (440mm X 387mm) and are produced in a limited edition of 250 of each design. Contributors to the project include Airside, Spin, NB Studio, Made Thought, Supermundane and tDR.

Here are a few of our favourite Re-Bags:

BB Saunders Re-Bag
BB Saunders‘ Re-Bag comes with a green felt tip so you can colour in a tree everytime you don’t use a plastic bag. There are more trees on the reverse!

tDR Re-Bag
tDR‘s design can be read as Return Power Shift Control

Bags will be available to buy from the show – which runs until 11th October at the SEA Gallery, 70 St. John Street, London EC1M 4DT. Tel. +44 (0) 20 7566 3112 – and online at www.blanka.co.uk – where you can view all of the designs.

Saccharine Style

Ceramic figurines – not usually the kind of thing you might expect to find in the pages of Wallpaper*. My girlfirend’s mum’s house, yes, International Style Bibles, no. But look closer. This adorable li’l lady is wearing Louis Vuitton. Bless.

Friday Round-Up

It’s Friday afternoon, you’re killing a bit of time by WILF-ing around the net, here’s a few nice projects landing in our in-box this week…

I Made The bunnies bounce

In Fallon’s latest blockbuster commercial for Sony Bravia’s Colour Like No Other campaign, directed by Frank Budgen, brightly coloured model rabbits hop about the streets of New York. We caught up with animation director Darren Walsh about his role on it
