Record sleeves of the year: Nominate your favourites

Our January 2016 issue is a music special and includes a round-up of our favourite record sleeves from 2015. We’ll also be publishing a selection voted for by our readers. Here’s how to submit your nominations

The January issue of CR is out next week and is all about creativity in music. We have interviews with Mercury prize nominee Róisín Murphy, experiential design team Block9 and Jeff Russo (a composer on TV show Fargo) as well as a look at the future of music streaming and a new wave of magazines giving a voice to female drummers and guitarists.

We’ve also rounded up our favourite album covers from the past year. We wont give too much away, but the list features some food-themed artwork, a twisted take on the nativity scene and a design inspired by Hong Kong’s neon lights.

Now we’ve picked our selection, we’d like to hear from you – you can vote for your favourite artwork in the comments section below (please leave your name, alongside the name of your chosen album and why it’s your favourite), or post suggestions on social media using the hashtag #CRsleevesoftheyear

We’ll be publishing an article on our readers’ favourites later this month alongside our own top 10.
