Ireland’s national radio station, RTÉ Radio 1, commissioned photographer Gillian Hyland to create a series of surreal narratives where the worlds of the radio audience merge with their favourite presenters in the studio.

The resulting shots see a blurring of home life and radio to demonstrate how intimately connected and engaged the listeners are with the presenters.
