Saudade, a project by Cynthia Luehr, a graduate of the master’s degree in photography and design at Elisava in Barcelona, is focused on different concepts of home. “When we are kids, we are born into our home. At that moment we do not have a choice about where we want to live. But at some point, we do, and we can call that place our ‘home’,” she tells CR.

“Defining what home really means is complicated. Home is way more than a location. It’s about a feeling of belonging: a collective feeling which describes that place we have been looking for, for a lifetime. A place of determination; a place of finding ­identity; a place of security.”
