For Spring King’s second album A Better Life, the band were looking to embrace themes and visual tropes that reflected their new collective songwriting approach. After discussing ideas with the band, art director Charlie Drinkwater, photographer Hollie Fernando, and Island Records marketing manager Sam Flynn decided to reference the socially progressive Kibbo Kift and the wider Woodcraft movement of the 1930s.
