Studio Dempsey: Self-promotional postcards

After finally stepping down from CDT last year, the design studio that he co-founded, Mike Dempsey set up his own, far smaller operation to concentrate on projects of personal interest

Studio Dempsey’s identity plays on the notion of the imagination and its ever-changing nature. This series of postcards, part of the studio’s overall identity, shows how imagery within the simple generic head can be playful, practical or just beautiful in order to convey the spirit of its creator.

“I am so bored with the many pseudo-modernist, clinical identities in our industry that I decided to bring a bit of warmth, fun, and variation to the arena,” says Dempsey. “I am also in the process of producing a large format limited edition print of a new image inside of my head.”
