Studio8: MAP magazine redesign

Matt Willey and Zoë Bather of Studio8 originally designed MAP magazine back in 2005

They were responsible for the first issue before handing over templates to MAP art director Matt Ball. To celebrate the magazine’s third anniversary, Studio8 has, explains Willey, “redesigned it using pre-release versions of the serif and sans-serif styles of Andrea Tinnes’ Roletta typeface.” In addition to the different type treatments, the revamped MAP boasts new grid systems and a redesigned reviews section. Design: Matt Willey, Zoë Bather, Matt Curtis.
