What is included in my subscription to Creative Review?

As a subscriber you will be granted unlimited access to all premium content on creativereview.co.uk, which you can read on any device.

Subscribers also receive full access to the Creative Review digital archive which includes digital versions of every issue of Creative Review magazine since 1980. You can access the archive via the Exact Editions website and, by downloading the free Exactly app, on your iOS or Android device.

You also have the option to subscribe to the print edition of Creative Review as part of your subscription package. You will receive four issues of the print magazine a year, including The Annual Awards issue.

How can I subscribe to Creative Review?

If you are already registered with creativereview.co.uk all you need to do is log in to your account on creativereview.co.uk and select the subscription option you would like to purchase.

If you are not registered with creativereview.co.uk, you will be asked to register after you have selected the subscription option you would like to purchase.

What if my subscription is a gift for someone else?

Lots of people choose a subscription to CR as a gift for someone else. In order to do so, you will still need to sign in or register yourself and then submit details of the person you would like to send the gift to. The recipient will then be asked to register as well, so that they can access the online content included in their subscription.

Please note the recipient will be notified about their gift subscription immediately after the order has been processed.

How can I pay for a subscription?

You can pay for your subscription either by credit or debit card. By doing so, you authorise us to take payment from the credit or debit card chosen by you on a recurring annual basis.

What are the postage costs for a subscription package that includes the print edition?

If you live in the UK, delivery is free.

If you live in Europe, or any other area around the world, the cost of delivery is included in the price of the subscription. *

*Please note when you are reviewing your order at checkout, you will be told that delivery is free. That is because postage has been added into the price of the subscription already.

Can I share my subscription login details with anyone?

Your subscription is for your personal use only. You may not share your username and password with anyone else. Also, your subscription cannot be transferred or resold. Other restrictions also apply. Please see our terms and conditions for full details.

How can I cancel my subscription?

Unless you cancel your subscription before we have started providing any part of it to you (in which case we will provide you with a full refund*), you will not be able to cancel your subscription or any part of it until the end of your current subscription period. This means that you are not entitled to a refund once we have started providing any part of your subscription to you, except in very limited circumstances which are detailed in our terms and conditions. You can notify us of your intention to cancel at any time, however the notice will only take effect at the end of your current subscription period.

Why has Creative Review introduced premium content?

To be successful today, free websites need lots of clicks and lots of advertisers. For the reader, that has inevitably come to mean high volumes of low quality content. That is not what Creative Review is about.

Creative Review has been bringing the creative community together since 1980. We share insight and inspiration across disciplines and borders, connecting brilliant minds to make brilliant things happen. We work with great writers, illustrators, designers, photographers and printers. We believe that their creativity has a value and we pay them for it.

Which is why Creative Review’s premium online content will now be available to subscribers only. Yes, we’ve introduced a paywall.

Registered users will still be able to access a limited amount of content in our Inspiration section but, for everything else, we ask you to subscribe.

What if I don’t want to subscribe yet?

Although all our premium content is available to subscribers only, we will still be making a limited amount of content on our website available to our readers for free.

In addition, follow our Instagram, Facebook and Twitter accounts where we will be publishing a wealth of additional content. You can also register to receive our newsletters here.

As a subscriber, how do I access Creative Review’s premium online content?

If you have just subscribed, all you need to do is sign in to your account on creativereview.co.uk to start reading.

What if I have a print-only subscription?

As an existing subscriber (i.e. print only bought prior to April 4 2018) you will be given unlimited access to all premium online content on creativereview.co.uk, and the digital archive at no extra charge, for the remaining duration of your subscription. What if I lose/forget my login details?

How can I change the email address associated with my registered account / subscription?

What if I can’t log in to the digital archive?

How do I access the digital archive?

In order to access the archive, you will need to be logged in and have purchased a Creative Review subscription. You can click here for instructions on how to access.

What is subscription auto-renewal?

All our subscriptions are automatically renewed unless cancelled during the subscription period. You will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current subscription period.

You can cancel the auto-renewal at any time so your subscription does not renew in the future; however no refunds will be given if payment has already been taken for your active subscription period.
