Sunny Wu is an illustrator from Los Angeles but is currently based in the south west of England having recently completed her illustration MA at Arts University Plymouth. “To be completely honest, I’m not sure what made me take a leap of faith and go to Plymouth,” she tells CR. “Born and raised in southern California, I then lived in New York City for four years, and I guess I just felt like I needed a change.”

Wu was also drawn to Plymouth’s facilities with its large ceramic studio, printmaking equipment and even a rug tufting room. “Although I mainly use Procreate to draw, I love experimenting and playing around with different mediums to ‘illustrate’, and this course encouraged me to explore that freedom,” she says.
