Newcastle College graduate Susan Swindells has been named Student Photographer of the Year at The Guardian Student Media Awards

Newcastle College graduate Susan Swindells has been named Student Photographer of the Year at The Guardian Student Media Awards

Swindells’ three submitted photographs drew from two recent projects, one on the dramatic decline in honey bee numbers and the other on charity shops.

Swindells graduated in the summer and is now based in Brighton.
