The Morrigraph

CR received lots of lovely packages in the post yesterday but one in particular got our attention – a set of three printed portfolios made by Falmouth graduate Harry Morris in the style of our subscriber-only publication, Monograph.

CR received lots of lovely packages in the post yesterday but one in particular got our attention – a set of three printed portfolios made by Falmouth graduate Harry Morris in the style of our subscriber-only publication, Monograph (below).

Morris’s wonderfully titled ‘morrigraphs’ contain a selection of typography, branding and craft work, a 140-word CV and a pull out business card.

Projects featured include packaging and logo design for Holme Brew, which Morris made himself after developing a taste for craft beer at university:

Type and branding work for Design Circus, a museum showcasing the design trends of circuses past and present:

A grow your own pencil kit (including leads, drill bit and Norway Spruce seeds):

Polka dot Tour de France kit designs:

And a novelty iPhone dock, made using an ornamental skull for an aquarium:

We also liked Morris’s logo which appears on his business cards, website and of course, the morrigraph. Making your work stand out from other graduate portfolios can be tricky, but Morris’s attention to detail certainly made us take notice…
