Thinx is known for its challenging ads, which address the shame that too often surrounds menstruation. In this spot, the brand wanted to portray a world where everyone experienced periods, regardless of sex or gender, to help highlight that there is no shame in such a natural process.
The ad features scenarios many would find relatable, including checking for leaks and telling your partner you’re on your period before sex. At the end of the spot, text appears on screen explaining that if we all experienced periods, we might be less awkward about them.
