Against an atmosphere of scrutiny about the role and funding of the BBC, BBC Creative put together this film to remind the British public that the broadcaster is more than just another media brand, and is instead “a common ground that belongs to each of us”.

Made up solely of clips from BBC shows from across the decades that have been edited together to form a seamless narrative, the film is a funny, moving, and thoughtful reflection of the place that the BBC holds in British culture and society.
