Unique Homestays holds one of the most exclusive portfolios of private holiday homes in Britain and Ireland. From defence towers designed to keep Napoleon’s army out, to Tudor manors where Queen performed, the properties on its portfolio are unique and desirable for modern travellers.

Usually the “homes get all the glory”, says the brand. But for this campaign it decided to shift the focus onto its customers. “We wanted to celebrate the people who stay in our homes – the ones who choose to make our homes the backdrop to special memories and travel experiences…. We know that it’s unique people who make unique places.”

The campaign stars real people and features copy that tells their story, playing with “ideas of poetry, riddles and wildlife documentary-style observations to give a window into their unique worlds through a tongue-in-cheek approach to biography”. Targeting a London audience, Unique Homestays ran billboards for the first time in its nearly 30-year history at various London Underground sites across the city.
