Why Londoners must learn to Share the Road

M&C Saatchi’s extraordinary new ad for Transport for London urges us all to learn to Share the Road

M&C Saatchi’s extraordinary new ad for Transport for London urges us all to learn to Share the Road

As London (at last) begins to heat up for the summer, TFL, the body responsible for transport in the city, has issued a poetic plea for road users to cool down and learn to give and take a little. The black and white film, shot by Yann Demange, features a number of ‘road rage’ episodes while a narrator asks us to “let go” and “leave it behind” rather than constantly getting wound up. Easier said than done when, like your correspondent, you have almost been mown down by a cyclist going the wrong way down a one-way street while walking to work this morning…, OK, OK, let it go, maybe we were both at fault… ‘Breathe In, Breathe Out’
