Chickens seem to be having a moment in advertising this month. First there was Mercedes-Benz‘s disco-dancing chicken troupe, and now Goodby, Silverstein & Partners has created a series of spots featuring chickens singing along to 80s hits…

The ads are for US poultry company Foster Farms, and the birds sing numbers by Toto, The Human League and Night Ranger in the three spots. It’s all a bit gimmicky, you say? Well, sure, but what better way to start Monday morning than to listen to a chicken choir belt out Toto’s Africa? All together now, ‘cluck, cluck, cluck, cluuuuuck, cluck, cluck, cluck, cluck, cluck…’
