W+K Amsterdam creates cute series of cookie jars for Milka

Five character designs are competing to be chosen as this year’s Milka jar – and it’s down to you to choose who will be crowned the winner.

Fans of the 1980s Natwest piggy bank promotion will enjoy this new advertising campaign for Milka. Like the Natwest piggies, the Milka jars have an old school style. But unlike the bank promotion – where audiences were encouraged to save money to collect their family of pigs – here the different characters are pitted against each other, with only one allowed to reign supreme. The trailer below introduces the characters:

Who wins is up to you – if you particularly favour an individual cookie jar character, you simply need to like it on Facebook to give it your vote. By doing so, you are also in with a chance of winning one of the jars, with over 3,000 up for grabs.

All the characters, and the jar designs, have been created by Wieden + Kennedy Amsterdam. The agency has also created witty individual films for each one, which can be seen below. Which one’s your favourite?
