Roger Federer’s tennis skills are so awe-inspiring that he becomes a tennis legend for every era, from the 1960s to the present day, in a new ad for the Mercedes SL (which is also a timeless brand, according to the spot). The ad does a good job of sending up tennis fashions from across the decades and while its message, and also Federer’s connection to Mercedes, is a little confused, it’s certainly lots of fun seeing the tennis hero in all the different get ups.
