WORK: A glimpse at LOOK/17, Liverpool’s International Photography Festival

Look/17 is the latest iteration of Liverpool’s annual photography festival. Taking place at venues across the city, this year’s festival is curated by Hong Kong-based curator Ying Kwok and examines the long history of exchange between Liverpool and China. Through works by both Chinese and British artists, the festival will examine themes of “urbanism and the challenges we face globally and locally”, according to the festival’s website. Shown here are a selection of works that are on show. Until May 14, lookphotofestival.com
