This Christmas season Hermès store windows across the UK and Ireland feature narratives of relationships between unlikely characters – a lovestruck butterfly and a beetle for instance, who have kicked off their shoes to dance under the moonlight. These dioramas have a hand painted feel inspired by Victorian and Edwardian Christmas cards.
