WORK: Striking Western Union ad for International Women’s Day

This new spot for Western Union, released for International Women’s Day on March 8, makes a point about the amount of ‘firsts’ still left for women to achieve: the first woman to run the United Nations, the first woman on the moon. Instead of being negative about these challenges though, the spot turns them into a race between five girls representing different nations, and makes the point about the crucial role that education plays in helping women achieve these goals.
