Yellow – One Illustrated Year

The team behind indie comics press OFFLIFE have produced an illustrated book of the year containing work by 52 artists – each depicting a single news story from the past 12 months

Fifty-two artists were given a week of the year each – from November 2014 to November 2015 – and asked to illustrate one particular news story which broke within that seven day period. Following a Kickstarter campaign and an exhibition, Yellow is now available to buy as a hardback book.

The aim of the collection, say OFFLIFE, is “to show that illustration isn’t just a medium of pretty pictures; that it can be as powerful as any photograph or piece of writing.”
