In this series, Owen Harvey explores ideas of masculinity and fatherhood. “This series documents a young demographic of fathers and guardians with their children,” he says. “My work often explores the notion of masculinity, and although outdated stereotypes of parenting between men and women are starting to change for the better, I still rarely see the important representation of young men as loving father figures.

“I put out an open call to young men and found that many had also noticed the same and wanted to contribute to change this. The images are a selection of young fathers and guardians that portray the gentle, influential and caring relationship between fathers and their sons and daughters.”
