The spots have the appearance of animation, which as Pandey explained was a significant step for Indian advertising, as animated films are all viewed there as “just for kids”, with adults having no interest. The Zoozoo characters have changed this, however, and have now received “more hits than Mickey Mouse to date”, according to Pandey.

Despite their animated appearance, the films actually feature people in body suits. Twenty-five were made, all of which are shown above, and Ogilvy & Mather is currently working on a new set. The spots are directed by Prakash Varma of Nirvana Films.
