Shot through Colonel Blimp, director Carl Burgess‘ new promo for Kap Bambino track, Obsess, features actors demonstrating (some better than others) their ‘ability’ to express a range of emotions. It’s weird, but kinda wonderful so here it is…
This isn’t the first time Burgess has created a strangely compelling music video of footage of not-particularly-impressive actors doing their thing to camera. Regular readers may recall we flagged up his video for Ratatat track Drugs in August last year. That video brilliantly utilised stock video footage from Getty Images to make the entire film which Burgess edited himself. Alongside the painful footage of ‘actors’ experiencing various emotional states in that particular video, some post production trickery adds an extra level of weirdness.
